SharingStories Publishing Program enables communities to edit and distribute bilingual, culturally rich digital multi-touch books, print books and resources relating to creative interpretations of cultural stories produced during SSF run programs.

The program commenced in 2009 with the ‘Sharing Our Stories’ 14-book print series with teachers resources developed by SharingStories’ Founder and CEO Liz Thompson. The series was winner of the 2009 Australian Award for Excellence and Best Teaching and Learning Package 2009.

The first publication of multi-touch books are set for 2018 with a total 16 in production over the next three years. Multi-touch books will include bilingual functionality in both spoken and written form, Welcome to Country, interactive maps locating the stories and songs and additional buttons that give readers access to extra information. Phonetic guides, teacher resources and other exciting features will support capacity community capacity to use the multi-touch books as an important teaching and learning tool.
