The Gunaikurnai people have been collaborating with SharingStories since 2023.

Together, projects have been developed to support community goals and the sharing of cultural knowledges, including Creation stories and other important stories that involve truth-telling and cultural knowledges. The Borun and Tuk animation includes the wonderful illustrations of students from Bairnsdale West Primary School.

Educational resources, including unit plans and activity sheets, have been developed to accompany these media projects and can be found on Jajoo Warrngara: The Culture Classroom. These educational resources are designed to support teachers in embedding First Nations perspectives across the curriculum.
