‘Same Like Yesterday: Virlkuthalypila and Other Stories from Our Country’ is still making waves! This time, with a brand new video that brings all the energy of Port Augusta, South Australia, straight to your screen.
Back on 20 September 2025, Leigh Memorial Theatre was buzzing as waves of local school students stepped into a world of story, song and Adnyamathanha Country. And it wasn’t your average theatre experience—this was interactive, immersive, and full of heart, with the following Q&A with Adnyamathanha Custodians, Leslie Coulthard, Linda Coulthard and Sophia Wilton, and SharingStories Project Officer and Animator Fleur Elise Noble, where the students didn’t hold back when given the chance to yarn together and hear stories and recollections of the project. It was packed with standout moments, big questions and big laughs.
Created alongside Adnyamathanha Custodians and community, this work is all about keeping culture strong, stories moving, and knowledge flowing across generations. It’s storytelling that feels alive!
The new video captures all of it: the buzz in the room, the connections being made, and those moments that stick with you long after the curtain closes.
