This Koorie Culture Map is an interactive experience produced by SharingStories Foundation in partnership with Koorie Communities, local primary schools and Koorie Heritage Trust. The map brings together animations, films, animations, language and stories connected to culturally significant places across Victoria.
We have also developed a suite of curriculum aligned educational activities to accompany the map. These resources provide opportunities to further explore the content shared and are suitable for classroom settings or anyone wishing to deepen their understanding. They are available for free on our education platform Jajoo Warrngara.
We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri, Wamba Wamba, Jaara, Gunditjmara, Gunaikurnai, and Bangerang communities who have shared their stories.
The map is currently available to view on touchscreen devices at the Canoe Table on Level 3 at Koorie Heritage Trust as well as online.
